My second day in Dublin was spent seeing the a bit of the “real” Ireland. We took one of the local trains south of the city to the very last stop, a town called Bray. It has a bit of a sea shore and a bit of a cliff walk, so I got a little taste of both. The day could not have been prettier.
Look at me, standing in nature…on a cliff. I’m so outdoorsy!
On the way back we stopped in Dún Laoghaire (pronounced dun leary) and walked along the port.
From Dún Laoghaire, you can see the smoke stacks in Dublin. The locals affectionately refer to these as the Dublin’s Eiffel Tower.
